“I chose to become a teacher because I believe every student deserves a positive mentor that instils in them the interests of the world with the belief that they can make something of themselves. Students learn best when they feel accepted when they enjoy positive relationships with fellow learners and teachers, and when they can be active, visible members of a learning community. I will continue to grow and develop my own knowledge, reflecting on my teaching practices to ensure the best possible education for the students I teach.”
