Each year at O’Connor Primary School we celebrate Book Week to bring children and books together. During this time, the staff and students celebrate children’s literature by creating displays and participating in a children’s book character parade in the Undercover Area. Every year the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) releases a national theme for Book Week, which may be reflected in some of the classroom activities and displays.
